The Tradition of Bible Healing Oils:
My dear fellow Christian believer,
The Good Samaritan Biblical Healing & Anointing Oil is made using the ancient art of apothecary, along with the chief spices and oil mentioned in scripture. This anointing oil is helpful in healing and building faith through the use of the natural forces that God has preserved for us through time, since the beginning of creation, and his Holy Spirit.
The Good Samaritan oil is a miracle of revelation from God, through his Holy Spirit, kept hidden through time to be revealed in these last days, for those of the true Christian faith to use, who honor Gods words and ways.
Definition of anointing;
The generic definition of anointing is “to smear or rub with oil, typically as part of a religious ceremony.” In Christian tradition, anointing is an important practice to heal the sick or designate a ceremonial meaning (James 5:14).
History of anointing;
In the beginning: In the ancient Hebrew tradition, a Shepard would have a “horn of oil” that he would use on the sheep when they came in from the fields, applying it to wounds and sores. They would also put a ring of oil around any holes in the ground, which kept the snakes from coming out of the holes.
Traditional Daily Use:
Anointing with oil was traditional among the Hebrews as a practice of welcoming someone to their home. It also was common for early Christians to anoint themselves as a way to revive or energize their bodies. A common use of anointing oils would be to honor someone as an act of hospitality, anointing of the head and/or the “washing” and anointing of the feet.
Invocation for Healing:
Healing & anointing oil was used for the sick (James 5:14) as well as applied to injuries (Luke 10). High-quality anointing oils, medicines, and fragrances that were created with pure ingredients had calming and therapeutic properties from the medicinal attributes of the natural plant extracts in them. The traditional practice would be to anoint those who are sick and pray an anointing appeal for healing. The Good Samaritan oil is safe to apply on wounds, burns, cuts and open sores as stated in Luke 10 by Jesus Christ himself.
As elders of the church we are commanded to anoint the sick with oil and to have them pray the prayer of faith (James 5:14), which is the Lord’s prayer as Jesus taught his disciples
The Lords Prayer;
“Our Father in Heaven, Holy is your NAME.
Your kingdom come, your will be done on the earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us each day our bread.
Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us away from temptation and deliver us from the evil one.
Yours is the power, honor and glory forever.
Amen.
This is “the most powerful” prayer, and we should say it every time we open his word, or speak or act in his name, leave our home and is also how Jesus taught us “we should pray’.
Anointing for the Holy Spirit;
The word Christ means “the anointed one” or “messiah” and as Christians we are commanded to anoint the sick and pray for them, casting out demons in Jesus Christ’s name, and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom.
In the beginning;
The first mention of the word “anoint” is in the story of Jacob, who when fleeing from his brother Esau, used a rock as a pillow while resting. In his dreams Jacob saw the Angels of God ascending and descending through the windows of heaven. Upon waking, Jacob set up the stone he used for a pillow as a pillar and anointed it with oil. In the use of the word “anoint” in this verse, it has the meaning of “to stabilize, to fix permanent, to anchor”
Anointing yourself;
When we anoint ourselves daily (never let your head lack oil, let your face always shine with oil pvbs.), we are reminding ourselves who we are, why we have hope and that through faith in Gods WORD, all things are possible.
Anointing others;
When we anoint others and pray for healing, we “oil our shield of faith”, as well as that of our fellow Christian. Just as baptism is an important part of the Christian walk, and is a physical representation of a spiritual force, anointing is a physical act that comes with an unseen spiritual force attached to it.
Anointing a person, sets them apart as consecrated to God. Moses was commanded to make Holy anointing oil and to anoint Aaron and all the priests and workers in the temple, as well as all the articles of temple service, including the altars and even the mercy seat.
The importance of anointing in these days;
It is prophesied that not only shall the anointing break the yokes off of the necks of the people, and remove the burden from their shoulders, but that the Yoke of the oppressor will actually be completely destroyed by this same mechanism.
[Isa 10:27 KJV] 27 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.[H8081]
What is the yoke of the oppressor other than lies that we believe, that put us under subjection to those same lies, and the yokes that Satan has convinced us to put on ourselves.
Sorcery (aka Pharmakia) is what Satan has used to blind the world, as stated in revelations: “for by your sorceries were all the nations of the world deceived.”
Let us therefore use all the tools that God has given us, following all the instructions, and let us stand in faith with Gods words of truth, boldly speaking truth, anointing others in the name of Jesus Christ, and speaking words of faith to our beloved brethren, helping them repent from believing lies, and to stand in the truth of Gods Holy Word.
Sincerely,
